This past Christmas, I received a bangle bracelet that spoke to my experience of women in my lifetime. It reads: "Strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we love them." This message is so powerful because we all come from a woman--we all know at least one. Girls become women, and if you didn't learn to love one by the time you're an adult, I pray that woman can learn to love herself. Even then, how well do we really know her?...
Women who grow to love themselves are a powerful force. There is still much work to be done, and the women of the world are always hard at work.
